Hewan Shrestha | Universität des Saarlandes

I am a second-year graduate student pursuing Masters in Visual Computing at Saarland University, Germany. Along with my studies at Saarland University, I am currently working as a HiWi (Research Assistant) in the Interdisciplinary Institute for Societal Computing Group (I2SC) led by Prof. Dr. Ingmar Weber (Alexander von Humboldt Professor for AI).

I received my Bachelors degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur, India. I completed my Bachelors thesis in collaboration with Innopolis University, Russia, where I was supervised by Prof. Dr. Manuel Mazzara.

Computer Vision: image recognition, image analysis, remote sensing, geospatial analysis
Machine Learning: few-shot learning, transfer learning
